Support with CamTech
Easy to reach, and responsible for the whole stack
Unlike some companies that are hard to get hold of, the CamTech team is built to be easy to reach. You call the support line at (918) 893-9680 or email support@camtechmsp.com, a person picks it up, and a ticket is open before the call ends. Most problems are fixed in that same session through a secure remote connection to your machine. The ones that need hands on hardware get an engineer on site.
We partner with you in technology and decide together what level of support suits your business. A five-person office that needs help a few times a month is well served by hourly or block-hour support. A business with a server, thirty workstations and a compliance obligation is usually better off with a managed plan, where monitoring catches a failing disk or a stalled backup before anyone at your office notices.
Whichever level you choose, the scope is the same: Windows and Mac servers and workstations, networking setup and design, firewall and router configuration, secure wireless, VPN and secure access, internet setup, and the email, web hosting and FTP services that keep a business online. One team, one number, and nobody saying “that is not our department”.
Remote and on site
Most fixes happen in minutes, remotely
Remote support is how modern IT support works, and it is faster for everyone. With your permission an engineer connects to the affected machine over a secure session, sees what you see, and fixes it while you watch. No waiting for a visit, no explaining the problem twice.
On-site work is for the things remote cannot reach: a dead workstation, a new office build-out, a WiFi network that has to be measured in the building it covers, or a server upgrade. Clients in Broken Arrow, Tulsa and the surrounding suburbs see our engineers regularly. For sites further away, the national help desk partnership can dispatch an onsite engineer in as little as four hours.
Tech support questions
Do you support Mac and Windows?
Yes, both, on servers and workstations. The monitoring and security tools CamTech deploys run on both platforms.
What is the difference between hourly and managed support?
Hourly means you call when something breaks and pay for the time it takes. Managed means CamTech is responsible for your systems all the time: monitoring, patching, security, backups and the help desk, for one monthly fee. Block-hour plans sit between the two.
How does remote support work?
You call or email, and with your permission an engineer opens a secure session to the affected computer, sees your screen, and fixes the problem while you watch. Nothing is installed permanently without your knowledge.
Can you set up a new office?
Yes. Internet setup, firewall and router configuration, secure wireless design, workstations, printers and email are all part of tech support. Tell us the move date early and the office is working on day one.
