Data is everything in an information-heavy marketplace. CamTech designs storage that keeps yours available, protected, and within budget, from cloud to data center to the drive on your desk.

Storage Built Around Your Business and Budget
One size does not fit all. The right storage for a restaurant, a start-up and a clinic are three different designs, and CamTech builds each around the data it has to hold.
Cloud Storage
Protected cloud storage with the agility to grow as you do.
On-Premises Servers
Local servers and drives for speed and control.
Data Center Storage
Capacity in CamTech’s Oklahoma and Oregon data centers.
Storage Planning
A plan that fits the data, the people and the money.
Layered Security
Access controls and encryption around what matters.
Off-Site Backups
Every storage design ships with an off-site copy.
Data storage
Where your data lives decides how your business works
From restaurants to start-up technology companies, data is vital to working and to making a profit, and storage that does not fit the business holds everyone back. A server that is out of space, files scattered across personal drives, a cloud subscription nobody understands: these are the symptoms. CamTech starts by asking what you store, who needs it, from where, and how fast, and then designs storage to match.
Sometimes the answer is the cloud, which gives agility and access from anywhere. Sometimes it is a server in the building, which gives speed and control. Often it is both, with working files in one place and archives in another. CamTech maintains data centers in both Oregon and Oklahoma, so capacity is available when a business needs more than its own hardware can hold.
Whatever the design, it ships with layers of security and an off-site backup copy. CamTech’s philosophy is that every client has off-site cloud backups to protect against a disaster, because storage and backup are two halves of one question. The backup and disaster recovery page covers the other half.
Modernising storage
Simpler to run, cheaper to grow
Modernising storage usually means consolidating it: fewer places for files to hide, clear access rules, and capacity that can be added without buying a new server every time. CamTech improves efficiency and simplifies storage so that your network functions as it should and your team can run more, better.
The result is that you stop worrying about running out of safe space. Backup data becomes an asset you can restore from, not a nuisance that fills a drive.
What to expect
What a storage project looks like
A storage engagement starts with an inventory of where your data actually lives today, which is rarely where people think it lives. Files are on a server, on three laptops, in a cloud drive somebody set up, and in an email archive nobody has opened in years. The assessment maps all of it and asks the questions that decide the design: who needs which data, from where, how fast, and what it would cost to lose.
The design that follows is usually a mix. Working files that people open every day belong where access is fastest, which may be a server in the building or a cloud service, depending on how many people work remotely. Archives belong somewhere cheaper. Everything belongs behind access controls, so that a departing employee or a stolen laptop does not take the company’s records with it.
Migration happens in stages and outside working hours, and the off-site backup is configured and tested before the old storage is retired. From then on, capacity is monitored, so that running out of space is a scheduled upgrade rather than a Monday morning emergency.
Data storage questions
Cloud or on-premises: which is better?
Neither is better in general. Cloud storage gives access from anywhere and grows easily; on-premises storage gives speed and control. Most businesses end up with a mix, and the assessment says which.
Is cloud storage secure?
It can be, when access is controlled, data is encrypted and the account itself is protected. CamTech sets up and manages those controls rather than leaving them at defaults.
Is storage the same as backup?
No. Storage is where working data lives. Backup is the separate copy that survives ransomware, a failed drive or a flood. Every CamTech storage design includes an off-site backup.
